What we do

Valuation work sits alongside our diligence practice — the same reconciled databook that supports a QoE also supports a defensible valuation.

  • Business valuation. DCF, comparable company and precedent transaction analysis, triangulated to a range rather than a single point.
  • Purchase price allocation. Allocation of consideration across identifiable assets and goodwill following an acquisition.
  • Valuation cross-checks. An independent second view where an existing valuation needs testing before a board or investment committee.
  • Scenario and sensitivity work. What has to be true for the price to make sense, and what breaks the thesis.

Outputs you receive

  • Valuation model in Excel with visible, auditable formulas and documented assumptions.
  • Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis with source references.
  • Sensitivity tables across the drivers that actually move the answer.
  • A written summary setting out approach, assumptions, range and the key judgement calls.

Where it fits with diligence

After a QoE

Normalised EBITDA from the diligence flows straight into the valuation as a defensible base.

Alongside a databook

Reconciled historicals mean the valuation is built on numbers that tie to source.

Feeding a model

Valuation output plugs into the investor pack or fundraising model.

Frequently asked questions

Do you provide formal valuation opinions for statutory purposes?

We provide valuation analysis and support. Where a statutory or regulatory opinion requires a specific licensed signatory in your jurisdiction, we work alongside that signatory rather than replacing them.

What is the typical turnaround?

A standalone valuation analysis usually runs 5–10 business days once historical financials are available and reconciled.

Can you test a valuation someone else prepared?

Yes. An independent cross-check is a common request before an investment committee or board decision.

Need a number you can defend?

Send the historicals and the question you need answered.
